Saudi Arabia
MBA admissions, Oxford and Cambridge STEM entry, and quant interview preparation for students and professionals in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province. All online.
What is different about applying from Saudi Arabia
The number of Saudi students aiming at UK STEM programmes has risen quickly, and the infrastructure around admissions tests has not caught up. Candidates are frequently academically ready and entirely unfamiliar with the format — not the mathematics, the shape of the paper and what it rewards. That gap closes faster than families fear, but only if it is identified early enough to matter.
Scholarship timelines are the other thing that shapes the year. Funded routes carry their own deadlines and conditions, and they rarely line up neatly with UCAS in mid-October. The sequencing needs planning backwards from both, and the admissions test is the fixed point that everything else has to accommodate.
For professionals applying to an MBA, the useful conversation is almost never about essays. It is whether the schools being targeted are the ones that actually open the door being aimed at, and that is worth settling before a single application is drafted.
Time zone and format
Riyadh is one hour ahead of me in summer and two in winter, so sessions fit easily into a Saudi afternoon or evening. Everything runs online.
UK undergraduate entry in STEM
For students aiming at Oxford, Cambridge or Imperial in mathematics, computer science or engineering, the admissions test and interview decide most of the outcome, and both are genuinely hard mathematics. I teach them personally and prepare students for the December interview, where thinking aloud matters as much as the answer. See Oxbridge & US STEM admissions.
MBA applications
For professionals applying to London Business School, INSEAD or US programmes, I help with school selection, essays, CV, recommenders and interviews. I interview applicants for LBS and did the LBS MBA myself. See MBA admissions and whether an MBA is worth it.
Quant and finance careers
For graduates targeting quantitative trading, research or financial engineering master's programmes, see quant interview preparation and MFE admissions.
Who you work with
One person, from the first call to the last session: a working high-frequency trading quant with an Oxford MSc in computer science, a master's in financial engineering and an LBS MBA, who interviews MBA and Executive MBA applicants for London Business School.
The first conversation is twenty minutes and free. Or write to alex@geodesicpartners.co.uk.
