Who writes these

I am a working high-frequency trading quant. I have an MBA from London Business School, where I specialised in quantitative finance and now interview applicants, a master's in computer science from Oxford and a master's in financial engineering. I write every question and every solution here myself.

Beyond the questions I work with a small number of people each year on quant careers, MBA admissions and Oxbridge and US STEM applications. The first conversation is free and lasts twenty minutes.

Common questions

Is all of this really free?

Yes. Every question, every worked solution and every timed test is free to use, with no account and no sign-up.

How close are the timed tests to the real exams?

Each one opens in its own window and follows the format of the test it copies: the GMAT Focus section timer with bookmarks and a review-and-edit screen, the GRE toolbar with Mark, Review and an on-screen calculator, the computer-based layout used for admissions tests, and the one-question-at-a-time online assessment that trading firms use.

Are these real past questions?

No. Official questions belong to GMAC, ETS and the universities, and are published in their own guides and past papers, which you should also use. Everything here is original, written to the same formats and levels.
